Solid Sterling Silver Cocktail Sword Pendant

An organic casting method allowed for the iconic cocktail sword to be transformed into a wearable talisman/totem. Utilizing this type of casting method means that each individual silver sword was once a plastic cocktail sword. By finding hidden strengths and beauty in otherwise disposable items, previously disregarded objects become fossilized in silver, allowing them to take on new lives as playful metaphors and precious objects.

When worn as a pendent the sword can also be 'pierced' through a chunky sweater or gauzy scarf similar to searing it like a pin, however, it is recommended when worn this way to keep the sword on a chain around your neck as well, to ensure you don't lose it! Be cautious- this fierce little pendent is sharp too! If you find it too sharp, you can make the tip more dull by pulling it a few times across some rough sandpaper or a metal nail file.
